Il chitarrista dei Blink-182 Tom DeLonge ha collaborato nuovamente con Fender® per progettare un vero fenomeno dell'altro mondo: la Starcaster® Tom DeLonge.
Disegnata con un corpo offset semi-hollow, la Starcaster Tom DeLonge è dotata di un humbucker Seymour Duncan® SH-5 Duncan Custom™ per sonorità turbo, perfette per massicci power chord e riff distorti. Ma non è solo una questione di potenza: i controlli essenziali consistono di un singolo volume master, combinato con un circuito "treble bleed" che preserva la naturale gamma acuta della chitarra, assicurando suoni clean brillanti e timbriche scampanellanti, sull'orlo della distorsione. Il comodo manico con profilo Modern "C" è dotato di tasti medium jumbo su una tastiera con raggio da 12" (30,48 cm) in palissandro, dal feeling moderno e dalla suonabilità superiore. Altre caratteristiche includono meccaniche autobloccanti Fender per una stabilità assoluta dell'accordatura e un ponte completamente regolabile con attaccacorde per un look classico, un setup versatile e un'intonazione sempre affidabile. Una grafica originale di DeLonge è presente sul retro della paletta e sulla piastra del manico appositamente realizzata.

HUMBUCKER USA DUNCAN CUSTOM™
Realizzato a mano nella fabbrica Seymour Duncan in California, l'SH-5 Duncan Custom offre bassi scattanti, un'enfasi nella gamma media superiore che aggiunge carattere e crunch, e una gamma acuta ariosa che risulta sempre intelleggibile anche con pesanti distorsioni ed è eccezionale per timbri clean cristallini.
VOLUME MASTER CON CIRCUITO TREBLE BLEED
Per il massimo del suono e una praticità assoluta, la Starcaster® di Tom è equipaggiata con un solo controllo del volume generale. Anche a basso volume, il circuito treble bleed preserva una gamma acuta naturale. Basta ridurre il volume per ottenere timbri clean brillanti e squillanti, sull'orlo della distorsione.
MANICO IN ACERO ROASTED CON PROFILO MODERN “C”
Realizzato in acero roasted (trattato termicamente) per una stabilità e una risonanza ottimali, questo manico offre un profilo Modern “C” arrotondato dalla comodità assoluta, adatto a qualsiasi stile esecutivo.
CORPO SEMI-HOLLOW CON BLOCCO CENTRALE
Con questo design, un blocco in legno scorre sotto al centro del corpo per migliorare attacco e articolazione, mentre le cavità aperte nelle "ali" del corpo incrementano la risonanza e la profondità timbrica.
PIASTRA DEL MANICO TOM DELONGE CUSTOM
La piastra del manico è incisa con una grafica originale realizzata da DeLonge.
MECCANICHE AUTOBLOCCANTI
Con alberelli staggered (cioè di altezze diverse) per un'inclinazione ottimale di ogni corda rispetto al capotasto, queste meccaniche offrono un'assoluta stabilità dell'intonazione e una corsa sempre lineare, rendendo semplicissima la sostituzione delle corde.
